We are celebrating 25 Years of SAGSAGA

SAGSAGA celebrates a remarkable milestone — 25 years of advancing simulation and gaming. From its origins to today’s stage, SAGSAGA has fostered creativity and cross-disciplinary exchange. As part of the ISAGA Conference 2025, we want to look back together on eventful 25 years, raise our glasses and celebrate the anniversary together.

SAGSAGA as part of the conference

The association SAGSAGA (“Swiss Austrian German Simulation And Gaming Association”) sees itself as an interdisciplinary network of simulation game developers, users and researchers and as a “learning community”. The association normally meets every two years at the EUPF (European Simulation And Gaming Forum) and holds its own conference. In this special year, both conferences will be combined to enable an even greater diversity of perspectives and exchange on Simulation and Gaming. EUPF tracks will take part on Thursday and Friday of the conference week.

Anniversary celebration

SAGSAGA is organizing a get-together for its members on the Wednesday evening of the conference week. Other interested participants are also welcome. Please note: The small festivities will primarily be held in German. More information about the event will follow soon.
